Featured Design for September

How many projects have you been associated with that went exactly according to plan? Probably not too many. Most projects typically encounter a fair share of obstacles and pitfalls along the way. This design is for all those Extreme PM's out there.

The gifts at PSG Novelties are ideal for project managers and project management enthusiasts alike, but it can be easy to overlook other opportunities for gift giving and recognition.

Here are a handful of additional gift giving suggestions to keep in mind:
  • Raffle / door prizes for project management events (PMI Chapter Meetings, Seminars, etc.)

  • Give away items for project management students

  • Project team recognition for successfully completing a major milestone

Featured Design for May

This month's featured design pays tribute to those organizations suffering from an addiction to urgency. Sadly, there's never enough time to do it right the first time, but always enough to go back and do it again.

Why I Created PSG Novelties

A good friend of mine recently asked me why I decided to create this site. After discussing the topic for a while, it got me thinking that others might be curious as well.

So, why did I decide to create this site?

As a project manager by trade, I have always been on the look out for humorous project management novelties that would enable me to display my occupational pride. Unfortunately, there weren't many sites out there that sold project management humor and novelty gifts for project managers. I knew there had to be other project management enthusiasts searching for these types of products, so I took the leap. In short, I saw a gap in the marketplace and I attempted to fill it.

PSG Novelties has come a long way in the 6-months the site has been online, and I look forward to seeing how the site will evolve in the months and years to come.
